You can calculate and generate resistors by either entering the the colors of its bands or by entering in the resistance and generating its resistor.

This app works for four, five, and six band resistors.

- Four Band Resistor - (2 digits, multiplier, tolerance)
- Five Band Resistor - (3 digits, multiplier, tolerance)
- Six Band Resistor - (3 digits, multiplier, tolerance, temperature coefficient (PPM))

For "Color-to-Value" - Select the appropriate amount of bands and select each color in the drop downs, once all options are chosen the values will appear near the bottom of the screen. Note, if your phone screen is on the smaller side, then the dropdowns will become scrollable.

For "Value-to-Color" - Type in the resistance you want to find the resistor for. However, there are strict guidelines for the input, so be mindful of how you are entering in the values. Then select the units you want to use, and the tolerance and temperature coefficient, if it is prompted. Press the calculate button and the resistor will generate.

You can switch between the different modes, by pressing the arrow button in the top right.

You can also share or copy the values of the resistor, which can be accessed in the menu.
