Explanation

The mourning of Muharram is the mourning and remembrance of the death of Hussein ibn Ali and a group of his followers who happened in Karbala. The battle took place in the 61st century in the desert of Karbala in Iraq. The mourning for Hussein bin Ali is not limited to the month of Muharram, and in other days of the year, according to the culture and tradition of each region. The mourning for Hussein ibn Ali and his followers begins on the first day of Muharram and reaches the peak at Ashura at noon.
